  • Hi Denny: Spent the weekend with Wayne and Irene Ananny. As often happens Goose was one of the topics and the Deneumoustiers were remembered. I had tried a contact Email at Rogers but it came back but I remembered we had communicated on VAC. Hope all is well. Are you still in the Barrie area?

  • Hi Denny; think about you every time I open my photo album; as I have a group photo of us in 1981 in Borden. Hope you are well? Retired from my Command Service Officer (Veterans Affairs) job on December 31st. On the lake at Lake Cowichan, B.C. waiting for the fish to bite, Take care, Allan

  • Hi Denny: Thank you for your kind words. Yes he did serve there and I lost him to Esophagus cancer. He put in 32 years service and then the same job for another 18 years.

50 years altogether. He loved his job. Sadly he only had 2 years of retirement to work on his huge train layout.

  • Hi Denny, I was your Pay Sgt in Gagetown 58/59.  I would be interested in getting more info about your brother who was in RCAPC as I was.

  • I think Don Banks was an apprentice signalman and never left Signals.  You can talk to him directly at the communications museum in Barriefield across the road from Vimy Barracks in Kingston where he works in the woodshop.

  • Hi Denny; yes it is great to be part of such a wonderful organization. I joined the Canadian Peace-keepers (Vancouver Island Group) about ten years ago. Have been very active with the Legion for over 45 years now. Deputy Zone Commander VI and past President Duncan Branch. Have been writing professionally for about 15 years also. Legion Magazine published several of my stories and Iam now working with several Hollywood Actors producing movies. I see you are still in Ontario. Three of my four children (3 in their 40's) stayed in Ontario and the youngst one (39) is in northern B.C. As stated, I am producing several movies at Bay Film Studios (Sergeant Tommy Prince and Paddy Main, SAS). Take a look at Bay Film Studios Website. Great to hear from you Denny, you played a signifcant role in shaping my life and I have often thought of you over the years. I am sure you were an inspiration to many servicemen and women. I took my commission from Warrant Officer after going through University as a mature student. Thank you Major. Very sad to learn that Yogi Geaudrault had passed away. He was my side kick in Borden. My wife Gloria and I own Ace Investigations and I have a Security Training Academy in Mape Bay. Work for the Studios as the School is out of the main Studio. Feel great. Quit imbibing 25 years ago. What a freedom that was. God bless, Allan
  • Hi Denny; I have not seen you since 1981 when I was at CFSIS and CFSAL before that. We used to sit and talk together at the Borden Rod & Gun Club and you were my Senior Instructor at CFSAL 35 years ago. Allan W. waddy (WO - CFR'd 1985) Nice to see your name on the list. I served with UNDOF & UNEF and then went back to Sea. Allan
  • Trust you are well, we are doing just fine, Cambridge had a good winter overall
