  • Hey George, I talked Armin into getting a web cam and now we talk instead of typing. It is much easier as my fingers don't function like they used to.

  • Hello George, I just contacted the chap that has the Facebook page for us Old 3Wingers and the site is down for good. The costs were wy too much so Armin has everything on Facebook now. If you have any questions please let me know.

  • Hi George: I was a reservist in Penhold only in 1971 and remembered Sgt Ferguson because he came into Corrections. I just spoke with a gentleman who retired from Bowden, Bill Crist after 22 years service. I'm with the Blue Knights motorcycle club as is he and is the head of the Alberta One chapter. I ended my career as a Sheriff after 35 years in Law Enforcement.

  • oops i made a mistake, it sould read "the 6th of feb. 1952 when king George died".

  •  The picture in question was takeni in korea on feb. 15 1952 the day we got word that King George died. They let some of us come out of line for the day.

  • Hi George,  I was in Edmonton 88-90, so I think we seen each other then. I retired in 90 and went to work for the RCMP. I retired from there in 97 and went on the road for 3 years, bought a place in Bentley and moved to Edm in 2005. We winter in Arizona.  Good to hear from you.  Donnie.

  • Hi George:

I will be up-dating my profile later. I am retired so naturally I am very busy with the garden and other projects. I still go for lunch a couple times a month to some of the guys that are still working. (Bruno Tremblay, Yvon Massicotte and Pierre Vezina). This is a Great Site, I am still exploring it.

  • Hi again George, I am in Lindsay On and the same as Harry poor health although I must admitt I earned every bit of it.  I am on Oxygen 24 hours a day so I don't wander too far from home.  I put in my 30 years and retired to NB in 1986.  We stayed there for 16 years and then moved into a granny suite at  my daughter's home.  She is a correctional Officer at the Super Jail here in Lindsay.  Fridge is full of beer and I have a bottle of Cognac wiyhin reach of my PC so who could ask for more. Don't know where our other pal Joey Durell ever got to.  I didn't see him around Bay St. Anne when I was there buying lobster.  Take care and keep in touch.

  • George, we left MJ in early '75 to go back to Germany (6yrs) and then came back to MJ in '81. I worked out of the new CE bldg. when I was the WGSO until I retired in 2000.

    Yes I remember Glennda.
