    Oui je parle francais. Oui j'étais a Edmonton avec Airborne Regiment de 1975 a 1977 et ensuite quand le régiment a déménager a Pettawawa ma section Tactical Air Movement Section (TAMS) (we did rig loads for airdrop) AMS a déménager a Trenton.

    I was posted to Edmonton four times- 75/77- Airborne Regiment- 79/81- 447(T) Sqn as a Chinook Loadmaster- 89/93 CFSTM Instructor Traffic Tech School and 93/97 1SVC BN and CFB Edmonton, Base Traffic Officer.

  • Hi John. I was with the office of information at that time, working out of J3. I was there from 1972-1977 when I left to a photo job at the Edmonton Journal. I did quite a bit of Pr with the Airborne Regiment, including skyhawks stuff and went to cyprus with them in 1972 when the Turks invaded. Cheers. Jim

  • Yes John, I was with the AB Regt from 1968 to 1970 and then with 1 AFMS in Namao from 1970 to 1973.
  • Desole John je n'ai jamais eu ce posting la.J'etais a Chilliwack avec le 1 combat engineer de 79 a 82.Avant ca j'etais avec la Navy sur HMCS Annapolis de 70 a 76 et Greenwood(Remuster air force)de 76 a 79.
    Quand je suis parti de Chilliwack en 82 c'etait pour Comox en BC.Ensuite parti pour le "middle east"en 84 et revenu en 85 a Comox et parti pour l'Allemagne en 86.Revenue en 91 poste a Cold Lake jusqu'a ce que je sorte en 94 pour aller travailler pour Bombardier et ensuite partir pour la Nouvelle Zelande enl'an 2001 et me voici maintenant en Australie travaillant pour une compagnie appelee BAE(British Aerospace engineering).Specialitee F-18 Hornet.
    Ton visage me rapelle quelque chose.Ne serais tu pas aussi un remuster"metal tech" par hazar??

  • I was an X-ray tech but not at any of the places you listed.       I was in Petawawa when the Airborne first moved there.    I was in Toronto, Chatham, Ottawa (3 times), Masset, Petawawa, Victoria and Halifax.    I was with the UN in Egypt in '73 - '74.       I did a long TD in Valcartier in the early '70s but I don't remember the exact year.
