  • Paul I am a Cold war Vet between DND and the Justice department = 40 years what I have is the highest respect for all legionnaires OLD AND NEW, what I don’t have is what the Legion (HQ) in Ottawa represent, as there are some old Vets from WW 2 and Korea still requesting help and this after more then 60 years.
Our Natives Vets from Korea did put their lives on the line in a WAR that went unnoticed for the longest of time; they are still fighting for the same benefits that the white man got. I.E. a mortgage for 20 years on a half acre land and after that what was not played up the GOV paid off the mortgage, this being said why should we have all this respect for the Legion (so many millions of our taxes dollars has been given to this so called Legion so where did it go, when you find out let me know, as it would be interesting). That is my rant, should you wish to pass this on I will not be offended as it must be know were the Legion spends our tax dollars)
