Hi John, NO we were not related. We used to go around saying things like Hi Brother bart or the other way round. At one time in MJ there were 5 Craigs and wierd things used to happen with pay, leave passes etc. Bart and I had a Great time togeather as people really thought we were brothers.
I first worked in what I remember as # 5 hgr (furthest north) on Dakotas, and T33.
Then I moved down to #3 hgr on T33 servicing, then to #2 Hgr working on T33, Expeditor, Chipmunk, and eventually Tutor maintenance.
Unfortunately I only remember a few names from that time. George Wyss, Porky Porchopsky, Butch Weber, Harry Bacon (real name).
We lived in Arborg most of our time in and did not get too involved in the Gimli community. I used to car pool with a chap by the name of Roy Code. Roy took his release in the late 60's or early 70's and went to work with Air Canada in Vancouver.
I am sure if I hear some other names they will click in my memory, but right now that's it.
