  Harold  I was looking at the accident picture from your training for the death slide. There didn't seem to be any brakeman on the rope as the slider went down. Maybe this was an early oversight. Just  curious as I had front row view every night as I was a spotlight operator on the stadium tour. Empire stadium roof had a good view, we were even tied to the supports along with our light in case wind should blow us over.

  Hi Harold, nice to hear from you. How can I not remember those days? In the band, it was Ray Garswell on accordion, Tom Gallant signer, Tony Brothers on drums and Ed Ackworth on rhythm guitar. I heard that Tony Brothers died a few years ago and I don't have news from the others since I retired from the forces in 1972. I have a few pictures while in Cyprus 1970, if you want me to send them let me know. Cheers!
