Hi Jackie,
It is indeed a long time no hear. I am back in Bathurst, and have been for 20 years now, and living in the family home, trying to get it restored. This keeps me busy as a bee. One of the recent retirees, Tim Good is back here as well. He told me he knew you from Saint John but hadn't seen you in quite a while. I got on Facebook recently to please the family and lo and behold, you wouldn't believe all my old Shelburne/Argentia co-workers who came out of the woodwork. Having a great time keeping up to their present happenings.
Are you going to Halifax next Friday for the service at the chapel for the Wrens in Stad? There will be a reception afterward in Juno Towers. I am going down on Tuesday and will be staying there until Friday after which I'll be going to Sue Lahey's house to visit until Sunday. Plan on spending Wednesday and Thursday at the NS Archives, trying to find out more about my 5x great grandfather. Believe it or not, he was granted 200 acres in East Jordan, really near to Shelburne. He was an officer for the Crown in the Amer. Revolution. Now I understand why I loved Shelburne so much.
Well, better go off now to get ready for a memorial for Roger Doucet. He was a communicator in Shelburne when I was there and he just passed away. Service at his sister's house here in Bathurst.

I joined Shelburne in 69 as maintainer Was swiming instructer Taught scuba diving Left in 74 to retire (25 years) thanks to Paul the HELLyer
