Hi Jim, Yes it has been a long time, since the Margaree days (1980 to 83), after I retired from Navy in 89, I moved to the island where my wife is from and did 11 years in Corps of Commissionaires at Vetrens Affaires in Charlottetown, then after that I did 2 &1/2 years as a greeter on the front doors of Wal~Mart here in Charlottetown, finnally completly retired in 2003 and started volunteer work at the Seniors Active Living Centre also here in charlottetown. I am enjoying life to the fullest and as best as I can, no alcohol in 38 years and no smoking also in 38 years, and exercising and eating healthy, but still have the aging things like Diabetis type 2, wear glasses, and hearing aids in both ears, besides all that life is great, I look forward to communicating with you and other shipmates on this sight real soon. live a good life and be happy my friend.

Black Angus in Old San Juan - oh the memories - Of course none of us would admit to actually going there, we just saw it on our way to the old fort - you know cultural things to see and experience. :)

Jim it was good to hear from you. I often think about you and the good times we had on the SAGUENAY. I was talking to Hughy Mcphee the other day and he looks just the same as he did 20 years ago. Hi Jim, long time since I saw you, just got back from 10 days down south, 7 of those on a cruise. First time down south on a ship that I didn't have to paint!!!! Still had a good time though. Looked for the Black Angus in Old San Jaun but she is a gone. It was nice to be a sea again felt like old times except for the old guys......well we are all old guys now.
