  • Welcome aboard Ray.  I believe you are going to like this website.  You certainly got yourself comfortable by joining the two groups.  Be advised that you should also join the CANADIAN ARMY group and the CADET INSTRUCTOR CADRE. Being the creator, I will also let you join the RCAF STATION PENHOLD group, as I'm sure you were there now and then for official business.  If I remember properly, 749 (Red Deer) CommSqn was a lodger unit of Penhold.

You should also put a history of your military career in a comment box, but hold off for now and I will advise you further.  You must have earned your CD, so you should add the Post-Nominal initials C.D. after your name.

I believe I have a pre-typed welcome message with some instructions that I can put in another comment box.  Give me a couple of days to do that, as I am extremely busy at the present time.

If you have the email addies of former 749 members, I would appreciate you forwarding them to me by "other means".  I can then send them an invite to join the site.

It took a lot of nagging over the years, but I'm really glad you are part of this social network for people who served in uniform and occasionally went into "Harms Way" at some point in their present or past career.

Adam is onsite and is a member of Corrections Canada.  Carma signed up over a year ago but hasn't posted any info.  She is probably more interested in Facebook.

Once again, I'm glad you came on board and look forward to passing on some info that you will need.  Enough babbling for now (Good drugs eh?)

    Best Regards buddy!

    John
