Hi Terry. Nice to hear from you. I got there in nov 73 and was in B pl. just in time for General Browns Parade the next day. Only person on parade that never had a unit citation on.
Terry, yes I recall you, as luck would have it just the other day your name came up and I could not remember you but the re; cook did it. Hope all is well for you. KDG
I was 2 PPCLI 1959-62 and RC Sigs 1962-66. I was with 1 Sig Unit and did a summer concentration in Gagetown before being posted to Eastern Ontario Ares Sig Sqn.
Hi Terry, I was a loadie from 80 through 84. What a way to go. Fly at 600MPH from party to party and take your own women along. I did get a lot of flack from the Herc loadies and was even given a pair of manty hose. But I do have one thing that a herc loadie never had. We had 80,000 lbs of high explosive at 40 thousand ft. Never been a herc able to do that. Plus we never had a way to jetison if there was a problem. The Boeing was fast, comfortable, clean, and the most important fact was that all our northern trips were coming back from the south. cheers
