  • Hi Bod andMonica geez can't believe we're still alive, and married to the same girl we started off with, Bob you once mentioned you pass by the old beechwood apt in Vanier, well having trouble proving Beppie arrived in Canada the military doesn't seem to have any records of us returning to Canada and I can't remember the actual date we returned sometime in july 1970 anyway one of the questions they are asking is the first address we had in Canada of course I can't remember that either so any help would be much appreciated they are holding her OAS until I have some kind of proof.
    Take care Robert Thanks
    Gary and Beppie

  • Hey ,Bob, last I heard,  Tim Kertesz was in Ottawa. Drop Gary Young a line. He may know for sure. Have a great Christmas.

  • Hello Bob, hows things with you after all these years?  Nice to hear from you..
  • Hey Bob, sure nice to hear from you! Of course I remember the the partying we all did...and your doghouse! They were great times we all had back then.

You and Bill Frabone (wonder what happened with him?) dragged me in my cowboy hat (and borrowed boots from Bill) to a bar in Barrie and that is where I met my wife to be, Janice.

I heard Mel Crocker passed on a number of years ago.

Other names I remember were Roger LeClair, Gary Moore and John Corbit...and Bill the pinao player.

    I am also on Facebook.

    Geoff :)

  • Talk about a blast from the past, Really great to hear from you Bob, and can you believe Monica and Beppie stuck it out with us two. Bob when I came back all I had was a Nato travel order, and they didn't put Tammi (my daughter) on her passport because she wasn't a Canadian at that time just having a Dutch passport anyway so far havn't been able to find the exact date we returned. I think I will ask for my UER through privacy information or what ever they call it, hopefully that will have the date returned.
  • Bob:

Wern,t they the good old days. That was a pretty good car for the price but liked the old Benz better. Still keep in touch with some of the guys like Wall H, Fred Cyr, R Pitcher and lots of others that meet bi yearly (east coast paramedics assn) to tell lies and lift a few. Out since 81 and still running my brokerage business. Currently in Florida until Apr enjoying the wonderful weather, golf and cheap beer. Keep in touch, always happy to hear from the surviviors of the old Germany days. Regards.
