  Hi Al,Yes its me from the past. Reside in Victoria,retired 1992,doing some By-Law enforcement for the Saanich Police.wife is a police dispatcher with the same dept.since 1985. I know Agassiz as the wifes family resdes in Chwk and visit often. I think you are the only person from 145 i have talked to for eons. Hope to meet soon. Barry

  Nope, I worked for the Province for 10 yrs when I left the military then started my own environmental health company and pretty much retired after it was running well. I still work as an advisor and or a member of the board. Other than that I spend my time fishing, working in my shop, and doing my wifes bidding.

  Hi Al lol yes our paths have crossed and we probably have met and didn't know it I was with base tpt in Chilliwack and drove some of the engineers to Manning park for ski trips. I also hung around with Rick Puttock a Mcpl he was one of the heavy equipment instructors, and also a Cpl Mike White  he worked with CFOCS also an engineer... I also went by Al as not to many people could remember my handle lol I started using Al in basic  and too this day ,but i tell new friends my true name  and that Al is my nickname...Its great hearing from you and we probably met in Chambly at the waggoneers club also....

  Hi Al, Sorry for the delay in sending a reply, anyway I spoke with Rick yesterday and it was quite emotional for me. Hearing him in some distress and fully aware of the likely outcome was hard to hear after all the good times I enjoyed with Rick, and he was and is such a fighter. I will keep in touch with Sharon.
  
  I am presently in Arizona we come here for the winter Oct-Mar, and have been for the past 10 yrs or so. We live in OK Falls BC in the summer a small town just south of Penticton (15kms).
  I am still holding Sharon hostage after 43Yrs she has put up with me and thouroly enjoys every min.
  Thats about all for now I will post some info on the site.

  Still can't figure out how to change that picture, How come you don't have wrinkles is that photo touched up. Thanks again for the hospitality have a happy 65 (4 Dec) thats the day we fly to Halifax have a good one Al. Problably see you again soon Did you get all the painting done.   Responded to your last blurb via e-mail but now I am not sure it you can receive it that way with this particular set up. What I said was that your sister is located a 4/5 hrs drive from where I reside in Port Richey on the gulf side. I would be more than happy to have a visit with you to catch up and tell stories. My Location is Sundance Lakes Resorts in Port Richey. The addresse us 11617 Sand Hollow Way. Tel @ is 727 378 7405. Give me a call if and when you want to visit.   Nice to hear from you. It's been a long time since the good old days in Germany. Don't know how the liver survived. amd mike never did allow me to captain the "team" but I still did OK as his asst capt. I seen Mike on many occasions when I was with the Fd Amb in Calgary. He was working as a bank courier and we managed to get togeather now and then. Mike passed away sometime in the late 80's and I haven't been able to find out any details. Neil MadDonald (Fd Amb Transport) and I keep in touch and Neil saw him at a few of the Stamps games but lost contact. I retired at age of 39 in 81 and after a few yrs as ParaMedic working for a company out of Houston in NFLD and off Sable Island
  I started a produce brokerage business in 89 and still at it.Spend Nov/Apr in Florida. The sun, cheap beer and golf keep me young and hope to be doing it for many years to come. Have the same wife after all these years and the kids and grandkids are tolerable. I sure enjoy this site and just seeing the names of all these good old medics brings back a lot of good memories.   Holy Crap - your looking good for an old guy !! See the high metabolism rate is still working for you - skinny bugger - I on the other hand have an enhanced shape - large round versus small round !! :):) Jake went to Ottawa but I have lost contact with him - I will put feelers out !! retirement Ha - I have 3 daughters - 2 in University one istarting grade 12 - I have at least another 5- 7 yrs :):)
