  • Reg MacDonald was an Adm Clk.  Thanks for the information on the gathering. I am sure you had a very good time.

  • You are the only former member of 4 ATAF at the time frame that has been in contact with me.  You may want to know that Reg (?) MacDonald of the OR Staff died some time ago. He used to pitch sofftball.  I can remember that on one occasion he through a grapefruit and the batter hit it and result was pulp, skin and seeds flying all around home plate.  Those were the days!

  • I do not recall the name of the S/L.  You may be interested to learn that I had some dental surgery two years ago and it was performed by a Dr. Smith.  While in the chair he asked me if I had been in the Service.  When I told him about 4ATAF HQ he said his father worked in the Cave during the period I was at the HQ (1964-1967).  Dr. Smith was a teenager at the time.  When I went to pay for the dental procedure he told his Assistant to not charge me for the Co-Pay.   Regards,  Lester

  • Many thanks for your comment.  I worked in the Office of Defensive Operations under a USAF Colonel.

  • I started in Glasgow, Scotland, then Boundry Bay, and then Ladner High, and then Charlson High in Ocean Falls.  I can't remember if I was in Boundry Bay or Ladner when i was in school with You , and your brother. I am assuming that you are Dick Van Horn, and

I forgot your brothers name, its been a long time. Nice to hear from you
