I have attended the Williams Lake Stampede Parade a couple of times with the Patrol as the Colour Party with the Drum and Bugle we travelled in the Shrine bus stayed overnight and left right after the parade was over for Don Cameron's place and enjoyed their hospitality then left for home from there .
I think I saw you taking pictures when I was in the Kamloops parade .
Yes the most of my photos are taken in Egypt .I always enjoyed taking pictures ever since my mother gave me a Browinie box camera when I was a boy.
In Egypt I bought a German camera that was ordered in from Germany duty free a 35 mm and I had it with me from then on .
A member of the Gizeh Patrol has a place at Deka Lake and attends Loge up there Bob Goodby and also Barrie Armatage spends most of the summer at Deka Lake at their cabin you might know them .Bob Goodby was with Inland Kenworth as a master machanic at 100 Mile House before he retired from the business .
The weather cleared up for the Kamloops parade and my wife Bea was along the parade route with her camera and caught a few pictures of us strutting our stuff.
Driving home we had nice weather but going up on Thursday we hit snow and low clouds .
Yesterday we were back on parade with the Shrine in the Burnaby Hats Off Parade with part of Hastings St closed to traffic for the day Lots of families out on the nicest day of the year so far
Hello Ray. When I saw your name recently it seemed to be familiar; It is me, now living quietly in Dartmouth and enjoying good health. Hope you are doing fine. Lester

Scotty, I did not know we had any rangers in Canada, they may have been a better fit
for me as well. My email is VanHorn1@telus.net tell me a little about them when you have
time. Thanks, Dick
