Hi Zeke, COME ON INTO THE RCAF Station Penhold Group where everyone who served there from 1974 to closure in 1995 knows your name. Once you join, you will have access to the group and take a look at the 43 members we have so far. You probably know them all. Great to hear from you Zeke. I stayed in the military and was commissioned in '86, retired '97. Have two boys, Don born in Metz, 23 years as an artillery officer and now defence scientist. Mike born in Wpg, High school teacher. 4 grandchildren 3 girls 1 boy. Sharon and I both in good health. 2 Cape Bretoners stuck in Ottawa because this is where the family is. Ha! Yes, Metz was one heck of a long time ago. Give our best to Peggy and family.

Al Neill here. You might remember that we shared the same apartment house in Metz. You had 2 boys Shawn and Jamie (wife Sharon says) and were married to Peggy (if we remember correctly). I retired in '96 after 38 good years. Cheers!
Hi Zeke, I'd like to welcome you back to Penhold, but you haven't joined the RCAF Station Penhold group yet! Welcome anyway to the Veterans of Canada site. Where did you serve from 15 apr 1957 to 15 apr 1957? Check this out:
Robert Szeryk and John J. Webber are now friends - November 28, 2010. Is he your son or a relative? He seems to know me quite well. He was or is PPCLI and now resides in Winnipeg. He hasn't posted much information since he joined so I really don't know much about him, although it appeared during a conversation that he lived in CFB Penhold at one time. Let me know if he is related. He must be lonely, because I am the only FRIEND that he has on this site. If he's related, you might want to make him a Friend and then you and I will be standing together again. His full name is Robert Michael John Szeryk.
I have sent you a FRIEND request. Now you have to peruse the 77 Groups we have on site and join those in which you served and give us a bit of a Bio on your Military career.
