  Don, Just thought I would keep you updated. I had the pleasure of attending and completing the Mental Health First Aiders course for Veterans put on by Mental Health Canada and the Halifax Military Family Resource center. It allows me to respond and assist those in need who are suffering from Mental Heath disorders from PTSD, Suicide and the common mental challenges that many people and Veterans suffer through. It allows me to confront, assist and advise both clients and family members on issues of Mental Health and where to locate services for treatment. Working on some fund raising during this Remembrance week  to help out with the group. Hoping to raise some money for you guys to help keep things running.

  Had a quote from Co-operators Insurance now that Carlton / Waterloo backed out of their support or Veterans. The Co-operators are on average 70% more than what I was paying before on House and Auto Insurance. Going back to my old company.

  Don, a question for you. We have the Econmical insurance people on board but they don't seem to service the maritimes. Can you check to see if they have an affilate company down here we can use? If not can I approach one of my contacts down here to try and set something up? I have had a few service members and veterans approach me looking for info.

  Hi Don:
  Read the latest blog regarding the Ministers and this Goverment's stand to change the new Charter. Same old / same old... squeaky wheels get the grease and the're not scared of us. Negative media attention is all that scares them... exspecially near a election. Trudeau won't do us any better... I'm afraid. Can we set a cross country day of protest for the ill treatment of our members. I'll picket in Rona Anbrose's riding / office. Hopefully I can get some family to attend as well if it's on a weekend. Also what about the Vets (B.C.) who have a class action suit against Veterans Affairs regarding the Charter... will that go anywhere? Thanks for your time.

  We have talked before .... Could you check on Peter John Wilkins, CD of Ottawa.

  He is NAVAL and has not responded for almost 2 years to his mail re: HMCS Shelburne.

  There are many members who have served on that Secret Submarine Monitor Base..Has he CROSSED THE BAR .... ?  and nobody has informed you ????

  I don;t like the format to join a Base etc ... If you didn't serve there  .. we will find out ..

  Let us just JOIN as we respond to these Military Bases, Ships, Units etc, etc.
