  • Good day Mr James Muck. Jim McGilligan visiting the site for a change and checking out the members..

  • Good to hear from you Jim, hope you and your family are enjoying good health in retirement.

I thought you might return to the Bay and do back up singer with your father in law's band. I see Jackie quite often at Tim's. I retired a couple of years ago from the Casino and am not doing a thing and  so far I am right on schedule.

Next time you are in the Bay drop in, I am still at the same address.

    All the best.

  • James or as I knew you as Jimmy long time no see, Very nice to hear your still out there. Please pass on my best regards to Pete, ask him if he remembers our motorcycle ride to his house. Me driving.

Oh I actually retired from Military in '87.

  • Hey James,

Interesting career. Would you happen to know Ken Sterling. He's here on the Island bothering us.

  • Hello Jim it is good to hhave you as a friend. This is a great site lots of long lost friends here and also is very informative to me. Take care Marty
  • Hello Jim it has been a long time.
  • Hi There Jim! I saw your name on Steve Pottle's page and sent you a Friend request.  If you're good enough to be Steve's friend, you're good enough to be mine!

I noted that you were a Sheriff for about 14 years or so.  That qualifies you to join the PEACE OFFICER group with another friend of mine - SIMON TURNER, who is a good friend of my son, Adam Webber who is also on site and is presently a Corrections Officer.  Simon has posted some pretty good pics.

  • Hi Jim .... so nice to hear from voices from the "old days."  All is well here on the Rock .... staying extremely busy as Town Mayor, Parish Administrator and CO of the local Army Cadet Corps ..... just a few years away from my CD4 now ..... lol.  Take care.
  • Nice to hear from you Ralph and glad all is well.  Say hi to the boys and we may hook up at a Mess Dinner or Retirement do one of these years.  Take care.  Jim

  • Hi guy:

I retired in 07 after 35 yrs and was offered a 3 yr Class B contract with the NCIU here in Halifax which I jumped at.  We got posted to Halifax in 03 and built our retirement home in Hammonds Plains....just outside Halifax.  Whenever I'm in town I join the Provost Corp group, Mel Pittman, Gordie Greeno, Jim Malcolm, your old buddy - Colin Corkum, Jummy Stewart and the rest of the gang for "coffee break".  Mel Pittman organizes the coffee break every few months and we have a great time.  The next one I will be sure to mention your name.  Anything "special" you want to pass on the Colin....just let me know.   Anyway - you have a good one.
