  • Hi Keith:

Sorry to hear that you were on sick leave. Hopefully you are on the mend....!  The 3 Sigs Group has been extremely quiet.  Maybe we need to start some rumours...!  :-)

The 3 Sigs Group is still on the air...!  Quick way to find it is to select "My Groups" when you get on the main page of this website.

I have not had much time to keep it up to date...and there has been a handful of 3 Sigs Members who have passed away recently.

Here is the link: http://community.veteransofcanada.ca/group/3_Signal_Squadron. Just copy and paste into your browser address line and bingo...it is there.

  • Hey Murray, i chose this ave. to try and contact you..i was on earlier and find that i cannot navigate through what we have now.. when last we talked, you said that there were no changes..i beg to differ my friend..i don't know how to get into my own page, into my groupes, my pictures, etc..i was told by someone out of penhold that i should pay more attentiopn to this account..well my friend, i pay attention as much as i want, and i really don't want anyone taking over and changng the rules..i had enough of a time trying to catch on to the old rules and reg's..as you may know, i have enuf on my plate now, and the time that i spend here is all that i can spare..i thank everyone for making changes, but you know what, i don't need it nor want it..i thank the person's that are ressponsible, but pls LEAVE ME ALONE>>DON"T MESS WITH MY ACCOUNT..pls pass this on to any interested parties   Take care my friend   Henry

  • How are you doing, Shag? Not much going on on the site these days. I was hoping to learn what sort of evolution 3 Sigs went thru after I left in '67. Clearly there were, and are, many changes on going over the years. When I see the technologies of today and thing back to my Sigs days I am astounded to say the least. I wonder what we would have thought of cell phones in the early - mid 60's - or computers, for that smatter? Science fiction, for sure! I assume that you, and many others retired out of the Service at a relatively young age, and continued on with new and different things. I had a number of photo albums from 3 Sigs that I donated to the Museum in Kingston some years ago, before they went astray. It's too bad that I didn't have them to upload, there were a real cast of characters in them at Gagetown, then again during our 64 - 65 sojourn in Cyprus. Im sure that would have spurred some interest. Hard to believe that half a century has gone by. Anyway, I do check from time to time to see if there are updates. Take care, and best regards,  Bob Jackson

  • Shag-don't know abut don being a good boy, lol. As I remember from Calgary he and I got into a lot of trouble with the wives on those happy hour nites.

  • hey shag, it seems so sad that only 28 people responded to the 3 sigs call and one of them isn't even a real one (my buddy don perry). thought this site would be full of ex 3 sigs members by now.
