  • Hey Bob,

It's been a long time! Glad to hear you are  in a sunny climate. I'm off to Cancun in for 2 weeks. Still working with Vets and members in Vancouver and Saskatoon. I'm connected with the CAV (Canadian Army Veterans motorcycle unit) so I have some time to have fun. I hope all is well with you.

  • Bob,

That pic is about 15 years old, an ID card renewal.  The round face now has jowls and the black hair has a much more silver "glow", oh sorry, hair is not a good subject with you.

Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2011.

    Mike

  • Bob,
Chris Galvin told me that you had sailed off of the end of the earth!! Glad to see that you are still on this side of the grass and doing well.

  • Like you I am still on the right side of the grass for the time being and remaining in fairly good shape [65 now and still running three days a week] and walking my mutt in between..Still in Petawawa . I think I have been here for most of my career. I have one daughter here and 3 grandchildren living about a block away . Its great to have them close. My oldest is in the service and posted to The special operations unit in Trenton.
Retired here in 1996 after 32 years . It was my third tour with 2 FD AMB and second as RSM . Retired with 11 yrs as a CWO. After retirement I managed a couple stores here in Pet , worked a short time with the animal hospital [Cremation Services] in Pembroke until I got bored. I managed to do a tour in Afghanistan Nov 2007- May 2008 which I found very rewarding working with CFPSA serving the troops .

Glad to see you on this site and you have probably identified some old friens already.
Take care and keep in touch.
