  Sorry I did not respond soonest, Retirement is a very busy time for me, I have only been retired for 24 years, and I still do not have time to do everything I want. You say you retired in Ottawa. It must be big city, because I also retired in Ottawa and I live Orleans, If you look in the phone book you will find me listed under M. Hepner. If you get time give me a call and we can get together for Coffee, and talk about old times. I would like to get more involved with Veterans of Canada, because I think I have some interesting facts about the New Veterans Charter.

  I just joined the Veterans of Canada, and come across your name. I was in Whitehorse the same time as you were. Do you remeber me? I was a Suptech and liked hunting and fishing.

  I've been reviewing this site in depth for the first time and I am surprised to find that so many of us "older" folks have signed up. Things down east are going pretty well. Good health if it wasn't for 2 knees and one hip replacement. I always said that getting on your knees to beg for promotions would come back and bite one someday. Live on Peggy's Cove Rd on St Margarets Bay about 25 km west of Halifax. How are you doing? How's your health?

  Roger, just seen your post about being in 6Rd. I was in Trenton 68-76, 6 yrs on south side and 2 yrs in 6RD machine shop. I did a lot of beers in the 6RD mess!!! I also hung around with Ron Rimmer!!

  Hi Thom. Big Mike retired last Aug. No replacement as of last Dec. Jerry's health is not good. He attended the teltech reunion of Sep 09. Have not heard from him in a while. I see Roy once in a while at our telecommunicators breakfasts. CFCMU is still in Kingston no change. my email is lonewolfscub@sympatico.ca

  Nice to see you still on the green side of the grass old man. Last time I saw you was leaving the office and we were looking for a replacement. Wonder how Big Mike is doing?  Any idea if they still have the unit or did they mix it with CFCMU like most people wanted done.  Heard anything of Jerry Cote and how his health is?  Lost contact with Roy and any of the others like Doris since she moved to CSE. I know Rick Desrossiers went to the Contractors and was the boss there for a while...don't know if he is still working.

   

  Anyway Rog, hope your health continues and retirement is doing you good like it is me.
