Originally from Shelburne, NS and worked in Shelburne, Clarks Harbour, Canso, Lower East Pubnico and Dartmouth before going to Connors Bros., Ltd in Blacks Harbour, NB. in 1977. We still visit Shelburne for Founders Days each July and have relatives in the area.
Hi Jerry, I see your name around in a number of places on the internet and I guess yours is one of the few names I recognize from my time in the navy. I originally thought that we were shipmates on the Iroquois, but now realize it was the Algonquin. Is that you sitting next to Al Goodwin in this picture from the book created on the Mediterranean cruise in 1954?
I enlisted in August 1950 and left the navy in 1955

I am 79 years old, get a pension for my hearing and am on the Veterans Independence Program (VIP). Retired in 1992 and spend the winters in Arizona. My wife and I celebrated our 60th anniversary this year.

Welcome aboard jerry I gave my son Jeff my dues but when he went to the address listed he said it was a mail box anyway he has my dues and he lives on the La Have side of the river just outside Bridgewater just above where HMCS Fraser was berthed Easily found as when he is home there is a big truck parked there He drives for Clark's
