  Just joined this site a short while ago. Haven't spent to much time on it yet.

  Joined Navy 1968 as a sparker. transferred to EW and then Electronics Tech. Left in 1989, and now

  retired on PEI. Keep in touch

  ;Hi George I too was in Cornwallis in 1955 , I served 1955 --1960 Cornwallis Jan 6 Vancouver 5 Division , The days of black caps HMCS Micmac 2 years ;HMCS Athabaskan 1year was LSTD 2 ;Now member of ADPNA naval Association Bridgewater NS Who was the driving force for the Desmond Piers monument in Chester NS Have a look at our Web site ADPNA .   Nice to hear from you George..serving aboard the Bonnie was a highlight for me, always tried to avoid her at jetty 4, but when I was drafted to her, it was one of my best postings.
